Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and was particularly fond of drama. She enjoyed acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actress decided that acting was her chosen career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and was awed by her experience. The program gave her a three month task to produce documentaries for PBS. She started as a production assist for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the task. In the following years, she transitioned to produce documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was satisfied at her job. Her first acting gig came with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. She has since appeared in many popular movies and television series.
